Field Metadata

Organising station info throughout your experiment is critical keep track of where instruments are, and necessary to create a fdsnXML metadata file necessary to host data via an FDSN server. It also regularly comes in handy to resolve confusion when SDcards or field logs get mixed up.

We have developed a standard "ANU" metadata text format that must be adhered to when submitting data to AusPass. Download example_metadata.txt to see how this should be formatted.
